Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Plain-language terms for using this site, enrolling in our robotics programme, using the Tinkering Lab, and working with us on competitions and prototypes.

01Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of www.botwinglabs.com and your dealings with Botwing Labs ("we", "us"), based in Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. By using the site, submitting an enrolment or enquiry, or taking part in our programme or services, you agree to them. If you are enrolling a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian, or are acting with the school's authority.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.

02Using this site

This site describes our robotics programme, competition support, prototyping services and the Botwing One robot. The information is provided for general guidance.

  • Programme content, schedules, batch availability and fees may change. The figures on the Robotics page are current as of the date at the top of this page.
  • Illustrations on the site are concept art, not photographs of our facilities or products, unless stated otherwise.
  • You may link to our pages but may not copy, frame or republish site content for commercial purposes without permission.
  • You must not attempt to interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use automated tools to scrape it beyond what search engines do.

03Enrolment and fees

  • Submitting the "Enroll now" form is an application. It does not reserve a place or a start date.
  • A place is confirmed only when we contact you, agree a batch and schedule, and the fee for the level is paid.
  • The programme fee is charged per level. It covers expert instruction, the mechanical components and circuitry materials used in class, and Tinkering Lab access for the duration of enrolment. Robots and kits built in class remain in the lab and are not included in the fee.
  • Level 1 (Bot Initiate) runs over 12 sessions. Session counts and formats for later levels are confirmed at the time of enrolment.
  • Fees are payable before the first session of a level unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • If we cancel a batch, we refund the fee for sessions not delivered. If a learner withdraws, refund terms are those agreed at confirmation; sessions already delivered are not refundable.
  • We may reschedule a session for safety, instructor availability or holidays; we will give as much notice as we can and make up missed sessions.

04Learner conduct and attendance

  • Learners follow the safety instructions given in class and in the Tinkering Lab, including the STOP rule: anyone can call STOP and all activity pauses.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up on time. Learners are supervised only during scheduled sessions and lab hours.
  • Please tell us about any medical condition, allergy or additional need that affects a learner's participation so we can plan safely.
  • We may ask a learner to leave a session, or end an enrolment without refund of the current level, for repeated unsafe behaviour, bullying or deliberate damage to equipment.

05Tinkering Lab

Free Tinkering Lab access is a benefit for currently enrolled students.

  • Access is during published lab hours, subject to space, and always under our supervision.
  • Lab safety rules apply: low-voltage circuits only, no mains work, soldering, hot glue or cutting tools in student hands, and a safety watcher in every group.
  • Shared equipment, components and materials remain our property. Learners may use them in the lab but may not take them home.
  • Projects a learner designs and builds are their own work. We may photograph or display projects only with permission as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Access may be paused or withdrawn for unsafe behaviour or when enrolment ends.

06Safety and liability

Learner activities use low-voltage electronics, small motors and moving parts, and are run under supervision by our team. We take safety seriously and brief every session, but hands-on work carries some risk of minor injury such as pinches or scrapes.

  • Parents, guardians and schools agree that learners will follow safety instructions, and accept the ordinary risks of supervised hands-on activity.
  • We are not responsible for injury or damage arising from use of materials, tools or techniques outside our supervised sessions, or from a learner ignoring safety instructions.
  • We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings brought to the lab.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

07Competition support and prototyping work

Competition support and prototyping or product-development engagements are scoped individually.

  • Enquiring does not create a commitment on either side. Work starts only after scope, timeline, pricing, deliverables and hand-over are agreed in writing.
  • You keep the rights to your idea, your project and anything we build specifically for you, once agreed fees are paid.
  • We keep the rights to our tools, templates, libraries, teaching material and general know-how, and may reuse them for other clients.
  • For competitions, you are responsible for checking and complying with the event's rules. We help you build and prepare; eligibility, entry and results are between you and the organiser.
  • Prototypes are built to the agreed scope for demonstration and testing. Unless agreed otherwise they are not certified for commercial sale or regulatory compliance.
  • Hand-over includes the deliverables listed in the agreement. Ongoing support, revisions or manufacturing are separate engagements.

08Botwing One

Botwing One is shown on this site as a prototype in development. Images, specifications and features are indicative and may change. We do not take orders, pre-orders or payments for it through this site. Any future availability will be announced separately with its own terms.

09Intellectual property

  • The Botwing Labs name, logos, curriculum, lesson material, illustrations, Botwing One design and the design of this site are the property of Botwing Labs, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
  • You may use lesson material only as part of the programme you are enrolled in. You may not reproduce, sell or distribute it.
  • Learners own the code, notes and designs they create for their own projects and may keep and share them.
  • If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve our programme and products without obligation to you.

11Governing law and disputes

12Changes to these terms
