School kids build,
test and explain
real robot systems

Botwing Labs is a Jaipur-based robotics and STEM education startup for school children. Through hands-on experiments, coding and mechanical builds, young learners discover how robots sense, think and act—and learn to create their own.

Our purpose

Learn robotics by doing it

We want school children to understand how robots work by building, testing and explaining them. Through safe, hands-on experiments, children try ideas first and explain them afterwards using their own results, so motors, circuits and sensors make sense because they have made them work.

Our foundation

Classes 3–8 first, with room to grow

Our foundation is designed for classes 3–8, roughly ages 8–14. The seven-level pathway begins with Bot Initiate and grows towards Bot Master, moving from a complete first robot to independent design, wiring and construction. Each step deepens the learner’s understanding of code, mechanics and the world around them.

What learning looks like

Learning that works in class

Robotics brings science, coding and engineering together. Our approach gives children something to build, a reason to experiment and the confidence to explain their ideas.

Hands-on experiments

Children build simple circuits and robot systems, run fair tests and use what they observe to explain how things work.

A clear lesson flow

Each lesson follows a clear rhythm: a safe start, exploring, making and testing, explaining, applying the idea and a quick check at the end.

Teacher-friendly materials

Illustrated guides, worksheets and data tables with clear teaching cues, so a teacher without a robotics background can run a lesson with confidence.

Safety by design

Activities are planned around low-voltage circuits, simple materials and clear classroom safety habits, and each one has a no-robot alternative.

Approach

How we teach

Build, test, fix and explain, with children and teachers at the centre.

  1. 01

    Safety comes first

Student activities use low-voltage circuits and simple materials. Children work in small groups with a safety role, anyone can call a stop, and every robot activity has an alternative that needs no robot.

  2. 02

    Test first, explain after

Every lesson follows the same flow, so children know what to expect. They run a fair test more than once, then explain what their results show.

  3. 03

    Designed for real classrooms

Lessons are planned for school classes with shared kits. Materials are written so a non-specialist teacher can lead, with pictures and ideas for classes 3–5 and units and simple formulas for classes 6–8.

  4. 04

    Responsible use of AI

AI tools may help in preparing and checking learning material, but people review the content and make the decisions. Any AI in learning tools will be designed carefully for children.
